Attorney James Clark

James Clark earned his Bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry, and therefore always brings a methodical, data-based decision making approach to his practice of law.
Clark’s professional career began by enlisting in the United States Marine Corps, whereas he served during the 1st gulf war era with an MOS of Field Communications. He earned the rank of Sergeant, with stops at Paris Island, S.C., Twenty-nine Palms, C.A., Camp Lejeune, N.C. and Camp Pendleton, C.A. before being honorably discharged. After earning his science degree utilizing the G.I. Bill, he embarked on several careers within the manufacturing and research industries.

Clark graduated from Law School by attending evening school while maintaining full time employment. While in law school, Clark was the recipient of the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award and graduated in the top three of his class. His background in working in different industries gave insight in various types of issues and working environments, including Unions, Collective Bargaining, Mediation and Arbitration. He is now a member of the State Bar of California, the American Bar Association, and the Sacramento County Bar Association.

Clark’s practice of law consists primarily of employment discrimination, harassment and retaliation, as well as other employee protections such as whistleblowers, unpaid wages, etc. Clark also practices Criminal Defense matters, including pro bono cases.
